Bean North Coffee Roasting: located km 9.3, just past the Yukon Wildlife Preserve. Offering a wide variety of coffees baked goods and homemade soups and sandwiches. Takhini Hot Springs: Takhini hot springs is a natural hot springs located just outside the border of Whitehorse. It is a locally run business which incorporates two pools at different temperatures and has a campgrounds with over 80 sites. Because of the distance from the city there is no light pollution and is a great place to view the northern lights. Café Balzam: Located in the Takhini Hot Springs Café Balzam offers a French twist serving fresh made meals, and providing catering and rental space. They also have a great selection of gluten free items. Equinox Adventure Learning: Equinox provides a variety of adventure activities and engaging in teambuilding opportunities. Their main facilities include an outdoor climbing tower, challenge course and a 1,000-foot zip line located at the famous Takhini Hot Springs. They also offer guided climbing excursions to local crags and canyons. Yukon Wildlife Preserve: The Yukon Wildlife Preserve is a unique wildlife viewing property featuring 10 species of northern Canadian mammals in their natural environment. Encompassing over 700 acres with various natural habitats, the Yukon Wildlife Preserve offers unparalleled wildlife viewing and photo opportunities. Rivendell Farm: Rivendell Farm is a certified organic farm located on the banks of the Takhini River. Since establishing the farm in 1983, they have demonstrated that growing produce in a northern climate is not only possible but sustainable. They have grown into a farm offering a wide range of vegetables, berries and bedding plants. Rivendell Farm also features a pick your own membership. Takhini Gas: Located on the Klondike Highway North at the junction to the Takhini Hot Springs.
